You may have noticed that this site is dedicated to the music and other artistic work of Deborah Harry, Chris Stein, and their band Blondie
And as such most of us who come to this site, obviously prefer to discuss, the music, and other artistic work of Deborah Harry, Chris Stein and their band Blondie. As far as I am aware, no one here is all that interested in "Sustaining the finest quality and good profitability of" golden triangles, tinned viagra, holidays in half built hotels, get rich quick schemes, dodgy porn sites, pyramid selling, pyramid buying, or pyramid raiding, timeshare holidays, giving Prince Umbunga our credit card details so he can get his fortune and share it with us, winning high definition TV sets, playing causal games laden with malware, winning a years supply of pork luncheonmeat, or having any of this pointless, meaningless, probably dodgy drivel rammed down out throats. I have seen your posts on a number of Ning sites, and noticed that you have about the same amount of total disregard for those sites as you do for this one when it comes to the actual theme, purpose or context of that site.

Unless you can explain to me what all the drivel you post has to do with any of the content of any of the Ning sites, I would suggest that you stop annoying people with your drivel and go away. it is not much to ask now is it?

Please don't respond with yet more pointless claptrap and or generic responses reading "Oh thanking you very much for responding, I am out at the moment annoying people with cold calls from my Mumbai call center, your input is mostly welcomed indeed" (I have seen your generic responses on other Ning sites). Many of us have complained to Ning and the owners of this specific site, and hopefully your drivel will be forced off this site dedicated to the music and other artistic work of Deborah Harry, Chris Stein, and their band Blondie.

I noticed, in the middle of some very bad migraines that the spam had appeared again (Was it a nightmarish hallucination?). Logged on this morning to find they had gone and that is well cool :) So now it is a case of recovering from the migraine. I have realized that it is possible that some spam is potentially damaging to your health and it's swift removal a day or so ago was a welcome relief :)

i can see the problem, if someone is doing tours, concerts, handling the media and spending time recording new albums, Mani Manral is not going to be an issue they would want to have to deal with, which is perhaps why an appointed mod is a good idea. someone needs to put this to Debbie and Chris. I think whoever does the modding needs to be a dedicated fan and have some savvy when it comes to protecting websites.

If we can get them to designate a mod, preferably one everyone agree to that would be cool.

Our network creator (who is Deborah) hasn't been active much so I don't know how they would be able to fix this...aaahh!!

Hi everyone! I had received my latest e-mail from NIng on the 13th, and, right now, there's not much to report, other than the fact that NIng had given me some info. on how the Network Creator would be able to set controls for blog posts! If such controls are in place, all blogs would require approval before they get posted! I had given NIng the URL where the blogs are appearing, and once they have that, they said they will be able to investigate further! I'll keep you all updated on the latest news!

i used to run a site about two years ago, Well a PHP forum and the spammers even tried to get in there, So I just banned their butts. I do wonder about tis Mani Manral business though, because there are a number of Ning sites that have been struck down with Manralitis and the Manral monster still manages to post somehow. I suspect the moderator when selected, is going to be kept busy either trying to apply an outright ban or mopping up the virtual vomit.
