My name is Richard and I've been a Deboraholic since about 1978. I quit listening to rock when the Beatles sang "Yellow Submarine".I heard Blondie for the first time on my brother's car radio. I was instantly smitten by that sweet nectar that is Debbie's voice. I bought every Blondie album I could find in a couple of months (including Debbie's "KooKoo") and thought I had them all. I missed the first one and never found "the Hunter". I never saw a video of Lady Deb or any pictures of her until 2008, except the pics on the albums. I wore out several needles listening to her sing. She is the only one on my mp3;about 11 hours of bliss. I listen to her all day at work and I get the shakes when I forget to charge Debbie up the night before. Obsessive? Maybe.

My mum reminds me regularly that when I was 3 years old I was completely convinced she was my girlfriend, compared to today where the dream must merely safice...
23 years obsession is not bad given the age =)
