Admin - Discussion thread

Lets hear your views on the admin/moderator on THIS site.

Who does it etc, feels like no-one is doin it coz any old rubbish is getting posted which has nothing to do with Debbie/Blondie.

The site should be monitored and maintained better than it is.

That will make the site the way it was intended to be.

for fan interaction I suggest the tiki lounge n the offical website for updates

But I can see a different possability; too much bickering among the members and/or complaining about the spam could result in the closing of the site. I can overlook a lot of stuff in order to be able to see the pictures and videos that are posted by the regulars.(Thanks guys). I enjoy reading the members' posts to see what Debbie's fans are like. This is the best DH/B site on the web, with the best fans. If Lady Deb would like to appoint me moderator and consult with me at least once a week, I would gladly take on this great responsibility.; ▶ Reply to This

No disrespect to you Richard, as I know you are a true fan. But if Debbie were to appoint a member to moderate, Kristen would get my vote (if she wanted to take on the responsibility). Not only does she contribute as much (if not more) content to this site (and another great Debbie Harry site @ http://www.nightwindsent.com/dh/) than anyone else, she probably knows more about Debbie than Debbie herself. If anyone has Debbie's best interest at heart, it would be Kristen. She even went out of her way to chase Debbie's own brother away from here went it appeared it was up to no good. So Debbie, if you're reading this and are willing to appoint a member to moderate, Kristen is your girl.; ▶ Reply to This

I have to disagree with part of your post, I definitely can't say that I know a lot, and more about Debbie, hell I don't know even know much about myself half the time LOL. Anyways, being a moderator of a site is definitely a big job, it would probably be a task with the million other forums like this I take part in besides Blondie related ones (I'm a big Rolling Stones, David Bowie (I've been in love with him since I was a kid! lol), Iggy Pop & Ramones fan!) but if the opportunity arose I would love it!

I can't say that I contribute the most here, many others have contributed a ton and have been here longer than I have, Marcia, Dean (Atomic Boy) and Maily to name a few, they deserve the same opportunity.

Ugh, her "brother", don't even get me started on that nut job. I swear, if I had someone like that going around saying they were related to me when they weren't (and saying some of the garbage they were saying no less) I'd pitch a fit!; ▶ Reply to This

Of course it was with her authorization and it was Deb who posted on the blog page but she is not the admin or mod. I forget the name of the dude who helped set this site up.
