The Photos Section

Could we ONLY have photos of Blondie/Debbie please. I think this section is getting out of hand, so Blondie or Debbie photos ONLY please. (I don't mind the fan in the picture also, but not the fans' personal photos only).
It's starting to look like a "myspace" SPAM page, when you search for Debbie Harry & you get some pathetic blonde wanting to be famous, as they say in Glasgow, GEEZA BREK EH.

Any one else feel this way or is it just me. ?

I am not famiiar with this software, and I joined this site recently. I decided to spruce up my own "profile page" and found that if I upload picures they end up on what I assume to be the main photos section. How do I prevent that from happening?

OK the test pic was only up for a thousandth of a second, and I deleted it. I wonder if clearer instructions for newbies on how to avoid that may help?

I agree Sophie, it needs to be made clearer. I'm sure some people have added photos to their personal page with no intention of them being shown on the main page. I'm also not sure why there is another thread started on this topic either. Another reason why this forum needs a moderator, just to keep things tidy.

Yes that was me, I asked Kristen when I joined Oracle if there was a way to add pics without them showing up in the photos section.

I figured out a few ways. One way is to mark them as friends only or just you, then you can have them in your album without everyone seeing them in the photo section. I did my page that way.

I guess that the main page photos sort of get added to when someone clicks the "Let anyone see them" box even if they keep the photos in a personal album. I suppose if a Blondie/Debbie/Chris album was set aside so photos don't accidentally end up there but people have to specifically add them, and then the Main album is just the "General site" it will at least avoid accidental posting.

I agree with you, some people upload pictures that have nothing to do with Blondie /DH :S
i mean, there are other places to do that , if they want to.
I don't want to see pictures of cakes, or any other thing , just Blondie /DH pictures !

I agree with you, Kristen. Some forum topics/discussions have nothing at all to do with Debbie/Blondie. I just don't care to see unrelated topics here.

Ive seen alot of people post photos of them selves ( ALOT) THERE PETS THERE FAMILY THERE TOTALLY UN ROCK AND ROLL LET ALONE BLONDIE ART WORK

BUT no one seems to want to bother them much
